Royal Ascot News: Clearer Queen Anne waters for Baaeed after Master Of The Seas pulled out

Baaeed looks virtually unstoppable in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot on Tuesday, June 14.

Battleship Baeed's challenge in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot became that little bit easier with the news that Charlie Appleby's Master Of The Seas has been ruled out throught injury.

Already heavy odds-on for the one mile Queen Anne, William Haggas' Baaeed looks as near as it gets to a dead cert for the opening race of Royal Ascot 2022.

Appleby's Master Of The Seas has been third favourite to try and sink the unbeaten Baeed but now leaves the Godolphin challenge to Saeed Bin Suroor's Real World, after the boys in blue's challenge was cut to just the one runner at Ascot.
Newmarket handler Appleby is going through it at the moment after revealing that Epsom Derby winner Adayar will miss the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown after suffering a setback and will instead go to the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot.
Appleby said via Godolphin's Twitter account: "Master Of The Seas will now bypass the G1 Queen Anne Stakes at Royal @Ascot after disappointing in his last piece of work."
Bin Suroor's Real World chased home Baaeed at Newbury in the Al Shaqab Lockinge Stakes in mid-May, keeping on well and giving Godolphin some hope he can trouble the place money once again.
