2.15 Plumpton - Numbers Man
Numbers Man has every chance of adding up to victory for his followers at Plumpton.
The five-year-old looks set to continue the fine form of the Colin Tizzard stable and win on his second start over fences and just his sixth race in all.
Numbers Man only showed a glimmer of ability in his first four outings - but the Tizzard horses were not quite right last season.
It is only this autumn they have finally rediscovered their form and the winners have been flowing.
Numbers Man may have been beaten a long way over the smaller obstacles in May, but he produced a fine first effort over fences at Ffos Las last month following a 149-day break.
Making most of the running, he only lost out by three-quarters of a length to File Illico after a terrific tussle from two out all the way to the line. He gets the nod in the in the Read Kevin Blake On attheraces.com Handicap Chase.
3.15 Plumpton - Black Centaur
Black Centaur's sole success came on this course in March and he looks set for a triumphant return in the Fighting Fifth On Sky Sports Racing Handicap Chase.
The eight-year-old, trained by Chris Gordon, looked a proper stayer when grinding out victory by two and a half lengths from stable companion Fizzlestix.
He was pulled up on his only start since but is worth sticking back on his happy hunting ground.
3.00 Leicester - Angels Landing
Angels Landing can build on her promising jumping debut and land the Bet At racingtv.com Fillies' Juvenile Hurdle at Leicester.
She looked as though she would benefit from the experience after finishing third to Tease And Seize at Ludlow, just 16 days after the daughter of Fascinating Rock had got off the mark on the Flat, at Kempton, at the sixth attempt.
She only made her racecourse debut in June but trainer Ian Williams gave the three-year-old a 69-day break before that winning effort.
2.00 Leicester - Monarchofthegrange
Monarchofthegrange can get his head in front after a fair effort on his latest start when he reappears in the Watch On Racing TV Novices' Selling Hurdle.
Nigel Twiston-Davies, who owns as well as trains the six-year-old, drops him into selling company for the first time.
He has yet to strike in 10 starts but showed he was capable of winning a race when third behind Siroco Jo at Newbury, beaten only a length and three-quarters.
2.30 Leicester - Lydford
Lydford is an interesting recruit for the Skelton team and should be winning the Visit racingtv.com Novices' Hurdle.
Rated 92 on the Flat, the four-year-old acquitted himself well for Roger Varian in the Racing League series in the summer, although disappointing when last seen at Windsor. He has had wind surgery since then.
