On The Nose: Streetwise Starsky a touch at Market Rasen for Dan Skelton

It’s not quite Bay City but Dan Skelton has a nod to legendary 70’s TV show Starsky and Hutch at Market Rasen. Faster than a Grand Torino on Thursday, November 11.

We don't need Huggy Bear to inform you that Starsky has a great chance of winning at Market Rasen today. He was mugged on the line last time out but should put in an arresting performance.

2.10 Market Rasen - Starsky

Dan Skelton's Starsky looked like he had it in the bag when approaching the line in first at Worcester but was robbed at the death by Wigglesworth.

That defeat would have hit jockey Harry Skelton hard with the rider having the race at his mercy but then having it whipped away. He also faced the ignominy of losing to a horse called Wigglesworth don't forget.

Yet, Starsky has looked a consistent performer since switching to Team Skelton from Stuart Kittow, winning at local track Warwick on debut for the Skeltons.

A drop down to Class 4 should see Starsky slap the cuffs on this one.

Meanwhile, Jonjo O'Neill's Present Chief is knocking on the door and on a workable mark and can give Starsky something to think about.
