Watch the video or read the text (or both) and you'll be clued up on racing at Haydock thanks to our Pete.
We've got some more juicy info on our three main picks to get you set for a happy day at Haydock.

18.55 Haydock - Nicholas George

Pete isn't tongue-tied about backing the mouthful trainer Kevin Phillipart De Foy in the Richard Haworth Hotel Linen Experts Novice Stakes.

The up and coming Newmarket handler sent Nicholas George to a comfortable three and a quarter length win last time out at Redcar.
Daniel Muscatt gets the ride and here is a snippet of what Nichols George can get up in the nick of time.
"Only the two runs behind this horse so far, a second on polytrack over at Kempton on debut but was a winner last time around. Slightly smaller trip that day but I don't think there's much concern for me here."
"This horse has a long old way to go and I think we are at the start of what could be a very promising couple of years for this horse and connections as well."

20.25 Haydock - Hail Sezer

It's a big thumbs up for Hail Sezer from Pete in the Rhode Island Coffee Handicap.

This speedster won't need a caffeine boost after a solid third on reappearance at Wetherby.
Kevin Stott takes the reins and here's a snippet of why Sezer can reign in the 20.25.
"I think this horse has got an absolutely belting chance. Hasn't looked good in the last couple, struggled over five and half furlongs at Wetherby last time around, actually was even worse over this trip at Newcastle before that."
"But I think this race shaped up to be much more like the winning run this horse had at Doncaster back in July, beat Lucky Beggar by a length that day."
"I think this is a horse that, at the time of recording, is a solid enough price to take a nice unit punt on."

18.25 Haydock - Billy Roberts

Pete sniffs real value from Billy Roberts in the Ruia Group Delivering Textile Brands Amateur Jockeys' Handicap.

The Multiplex gelding has won three out of the last four for Simon Whitaker with the latest victory coming at Ripon.
A two pounds rise is offset by Stephanie Jardeback taking off five and here is why Billy Roberts can run the rest into the ground.
"Finished last year all guns blazing and last time around came back at Ripon all guns blazing. Won very comfortably indeed, looked very very nice and I think a horse that in this race has to be backed."
"Last year ran at Haydock a couple of times, most recently a sixth place finish which wasn't very good but before that had got a second place finish and at times looked to be taking the win."
"Up in trip this nine-year-old for this one but I think Billy Roberts has a good chance of getting you the win."
