Alcazan (16.00 Wolverhampton)

Chipiron (17.00 Wolverhampton)

Parallel World (18.30 Wolverhampton)

17.00 Wolverhampton - Chipiron

Pete is confident Chipiron can fry the opposition at a price in the Betway Handicap for Ivan Furtado after delivering a string of third place finishes.

The six-year-old has finished third in as many races at the Midlands track and with Elle-May Croot claiming seven pounds, this can be the time Chipiron does the business.

Here are just a couple of reasons why Pete is keen.

"A course and distance winner here in July, a couple of third places over this trip to the name as well recently. I was impressed by that third place finish last time.

I think Chipiron, with Ivan Furtado's enjoyment of Wolverhampton at the moment, looks like a really good play, at a pretty chunky price."

18.30 Wolverhampton - Parallel World

Course and distance winner Parallel World catches Pete's eye in the MansionBet Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap, with the six-year-old posting consistent performances of late.

Karl Burke's charge won gamely in early December over seven furlongs at Wolverhampton and Pete senses a repeat may be on the cards.

Sam James gets the leg up and here is a snapshot of why this one can be world's apart.

"I think the yard is a brilliant yard. Karl Burke had his best ever year training last season. £1.3 million in prize money is not bad at all for a yard of this size.

I think Parallel World is a great way to go, was third over this trip here at Wolverhampton last time around and back in early December also went on to take a very good win over this trip too.

Yes there was a nasty run at Chelmsford there in between as well but I really fancy Parallel World."

16.00 Wolverhampton - Alcazan

Roger Teal's Alcazan finally showed what she can do with a good win last time out at Lingfield over the distance.

The filly won at Wolverhampton in September but over seven furlongs, showing she has the legs for a longer fight.

Laura Coughlan takes the ride and takes off five pounds and the following is just a brief rundown of why Pete thinks Alcazan will say adios to the Coral Proud To Support British Racing Fillies' Handicap.

"There's a step up in class this time but I keep coming back with Alcazan to that brilliant performance back in September, won superbly, made all that day, no-one was touching the horse.

Was ridden that day by William Carson, but Laura Coughlan knows this horse and has already ridden this horse very very well indeed.

I think this is a horse that you can't really ignore here…I think Alcazan has a really good chance of getting victory."
