Planet Sport tipster Pete Farries returns to the north east for his first daily nap of the week on Tuesday, September 21.

My nap on Tuesday comes courtesy of Tuesday's Novice Stakes action at Newcastle later on in the evening, and I'm going to go with
Pons Aelius for Mark Johnston, each-way.
Now finished second last on debut last time out over at Goodwood, but moving from the turf to the all-weather is going to make things interesting and the expected price is, I think, way too big. This is particularly because plenty in this field have got plenty to prove.
Pons Aelius is progeny of Galileo, one of my favourite ever horses, and of course left us a few months ago, back in July.
Pons Aelius a great way in, especially at the expected price bracket, a few in here are probably too short in the betting, despite having had a few more runs. The inexperience shown last time by
Pons Aelius, I don't think will be shown this time.
