Daily Nap December 21: Full Of Light to brighten up shortest day at Plumpton
Only two racing days to go before Christmas and Planet Sport tipster Jonathan Doidge looks to a horse running at Plumpton to swell the festive coffers, in the Nicky Henderson-trained Full Of Light.
The Seven Barrows inmate won an Irish bumper over an extended two miles and a furlong on soft ground when with Margaret Mullins, after which he made the switch to Nicky Henderson's Lambourn yard.
He looks to be a stamina-laden gelding and so his two runs for Nicky so far, both resulting in respectable defeats over two miles at Ludlow and Uttoxeter, were probably a bit on the quick side for him.
This extra half mile ought to suit him much better. He will be making his handicap debut from a BHA mark of 108, one that his trainer will be looking to fully exploit and I expect him to do so.
