15.00 Cheltenham - Diesel D'Allier
As ever there is a very competitive card at Cheltenham on Friday and it's to Prestbury Park that we turn for our daily nap.
French raider Diesel D'Allier ran a blinder around this same course and distance last month, when having his first outing since the spring.
Although he led at the last before being collared up the infamous hill, the eight-year-old could have been forgiven for needing that run after a long summer break. It is also questionable as to whether the good ground that day would have been ideal.
Having blown off the cobwebs, with more suitable conditions this time plus only a feather racing weight, he can carry Harry Bannister to victory.
