I'm going to go for the Bryan Smart runner Equate each-way here.
I'm expecting quite a big price for this runner. Would I go for Equate simply to win? I'm not sure on that one. Wasn't brilliant last time around.
In that race, he was hampered at the start, didn't show a great deal through the race, even though there was a bit more in the tank at the finish line. This is a yard in pretty decency form. Just shy of 50 per cent of the Smart yard's runners are grabbing top three places.
With all that, I'm expecting the ground to be similar to that that Equate won on over at Beverley last September. I think it all lines up for a very decent each way shout, so Equate, at Leicester, the way in for me.
