3.00 Nottingham - Yagood
Yagood can claim back-to-back Nottingham victories on Tuesday in the Dave Gee 50th Birthday Handicap.
The five-year-old has been in fine form this term, winning four of his seven starts, so it was no surprise he went off at skinny odds at this track last month.
Racing over two miles, Yagood triumphed off a mark of 64 in some style, coasting home four and three-quarter lengths clear in what was an admittedly average heat.
Nevertheless, Yagood impressed with his cosy success and while a 5lb rise is obviously not ideal, Joseph Parr's runner can rise to the challenge.
3.35 Nottingham - Motagally
Motagally can make the most of Minzaal's absence in the It Pays To Buy Irish EBF Conditions Stakes at Nottingham.
This five-furlong contest was supposed to be all about the return of Owen Burrows' 2020 Gimcrack Stakes winner, but he has suffered a minor setback and must therefore wait for another day.
Motagally may prove an able deputy in the Shadwell colours though, with the five-year-old just failing to haul back speedy veteran Caspian Prince - since gloriously retired - in a decent conditions race at Beverley on his latest outing in June.
That was far from a bad effort, as demonstrated by prolific and classy winner Judicial's presence back in third - and Motagally could be in business here for Charlie Hills, as long as the ground does not go too soft.
Other Nottingham selections: 1.55 Aristobulus, 2.25 Migdam, 4.10 Boudica Bay, 4.45 Rebel Redemption, 5.20 Intercessor.
6.05 Lingfield - Barshaa
Barshaa can gain an all-important victory in the Download The At The Races App Fillies' Novice Stakes.
As a daughter of Dubawi out of dual Group One winner Sajjhaa, Barshaa has an enviable pedigree that would certainly be further enhanced with a win to her name.
Down the field on her initial attempt at Nottingham in May, she took a step forward when second next time out and can put those lessons to good use now.
7.35 Lingfield - Aye Catcher
Aye Catcher can make her presence felt in the British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes at Lingfield.
Awkwardly away from the stalls and ducking to her left, she raced in mid division before finishing off well on her Kempton debut back at the end of March.
George Boughey's winner Thunder Love was rather in a different league to the rest that day - and has won smartly again since.
But take her out of it, and Tom Clover's filly was thereabouts. She should be capable of better still now as she returns after a break of more than four months.
Other Lingfield selections: 5.05 Cayman Moon, 5.35 Savitar, 6.35 Flame Of Freedom, 7.05 Al Tarmaah, 8.05 Thegreatestshowman.
7.50 Chelmsford - Sunrise Valley
Sunrise Valley can take the Ladies Day 26th August Novice Median Auction Stakes at Chelmsford, before a crack at something better.
Second first time up to the unbeaten Royal Fleet, Sir Michael Stoute's Karakontie three-year-old had no trouble whatsoever landing the odds next time at Newmarket.
She has a nice way about her and is a name to note.
8.20 Chelmsford - Midfield
Midfield should finish a bit better than that in the tote.co.uk Live Streaming Every UK Race Handicap.
Sir Mark Prescott's Cheveley Park filly needed three handicap attempts this season before breaking her career duck on her seventh start in all.
That Lingfield success came in a first-time visor, significantly up in trip to two miles.
Back to 14 furlongs here, and running under a winner's penalty, it will be no surprise to see Midfield follow the example of countless others from her yard by proving ahead of the handicapper.
Other Chelmsford selections: 6.20 Freyabella, 6.50 Campachoochoo, 7.20 Nibras Shadow, 8.50 La Roca Del Fuego.
1.30 Wolverhampton - Halcyon Spirit
Halcyon Spirit should be given another chance in the MansionBet Betstival Flower Power Novice Median Auction Stakes at Wolverhampton.
Sent off double figure odds on his first couple of starts, Halcyon Spirit was only beaten a length in third on the second occasion, prompting some punter support on his next outing at Wolverhampton.
He was beaten second as joint favourite that day and again had to make do with minor honours as a market leader at Nottingham in late July.
Things perhaps did not quite work out in his favour that day, so it could pay to keep the faith one last time.
Other Wolverhampton selections: 1.00 Genesius, 2.05 Raabeh, 2.40 Split Elevens, 3.15 Spring Glow, 3.50 Hugosthere.
