Wednesday Kempton each-way racing tip: Toybox capable of springing a surprise

The expert eye of Tipstrr racing pundit Richard Hutchinson has fallen on the last race of tonight's Kempton meeting, where he thinks Tyler Saunders can bring the best out of each-way option Toybox.

This Classified 0-50 stakes race is dominated in the market by last-time-out winner Big Jimbo, who looks a worthy favourite after postmarking 58 to win and he might have more to come after coming back from a long layoff to finish third, and then stepping up to win on his next run.

Connections are looking to strike quickly, but after two quick runs this next outing might catch up with him.

Even if he does run his race, the one at a price that has every chance is Toybox, who in the past has postmarked a high of 75 here at Kempton, so we know he likes the track,

He has been a consistent sort over the past two years, running off mid-50 and he won a handicap last year postmarking 61, so we know he has the edge over the favourite when in form.

20:30 (Kempton) Toybox

His last three runs haven't looked as good, but the common denominator in those defeats was the inexperienced jockey Olivia Tubb on board, who was slowly away each time and just ran on steadily without threatening.
Historically Toybox doesn't have starting issues, as he is normally well away and tracks the pace, so the return of his regular jockey, Tyler Saunders, could make all the difference.

These three lacklustre runs have seen Toybox drop from a handicap mark of 53 to 47, only a small drop, but significantly it does enable him to drop in class to this 0-50 classified stakes for the first time in his career, and he looks like the classiest horse in this modest field.

From a nice draw, Tyler should get Toybox into a good prominent track position and he should then have every chance.

We managed to back him at 28/1, and the current 25/1 looks to be an attractive play, and even down to 16/1 I would recommend a point each-way.
