Wednesday Kempton top horse racing tip: Sword Beach can bounce back under Rossa Ryan

The first-choice pick of Tipstrr racing expert Steve Jones was withdrawn, but his practice of offering a next-best option allows him to provide an alternative value bet from Kempton's evening meeting.

Most of the market leaders look vulnerable here, with Later Darling beaten in a 0-72 last time out, Roscioli enduring a 1/19 record and beaten in a 0-71 last time, while Land Of Eagles has failed to win any of his last three starts in basement Class 6 handicaps.

The jumps trainers look to have the edge here, and Royal Thunder could go well first-time for Stuart Edmonds, who has sent out two winners and a second from his four all-weather runners in the last couple of weeks.
The four-year-old maiden looks well handicapped and is lightly-raced for his age but he might just prove better over ten furlongs, so his price doesn't offer a huge amount of value.
One who caught my eye at a big-value price was Rhebus Road, but his early-morning withdrawal leads us to my next-best option in the form of Alan King's Sword Beach.

This six-year-old ran a lot better than his finishing position suggests in a higher-graded Class 4 on the Lingfield Polytrack last time out, trying to come from the back in a slowly-run 12-furlong handicap, before finding himself out-paced in the final furlong.

This race looks an easier proposition, and under Rossa Ryan he should come on again for that first run back from a break.

A dual winner over 11.5 furlongs at Windsor earlier in his career, he clearly likes this configuration and this will not only be the lowest-graded all-weather handicap he has contested, but also off his lowest all-weather mark to boot.
