Tiger Roll to tackle the Betway Bowl at Aintree

Tiger Roll and Clan Des Obeaux will line up in the Betway Bowl on day one of Aintree's Grand National meeting.

The 11-year-old Tiger Roll was not among the declarations for Easter Monday's BoyleSports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse.
The two-time Grand National winner will now be facing 13 other top-class chasers across a shorter three miles and a furlong at Aintree.

He will have plenty of high-profile competiton in the Betway Bowl including Paul Nicholls' Clan Des Obeaux, Colin Tizzard's Gold Cup winner Native River and Ruth Jefferson's Waiting Patiently

Venetia Williams has both Aso and Cepage in the reckoning, while Tom George could put his faith in Clondaw Castle.

Top Notch and Mister Fisher - another who would be going up in distance - may represent Nicky Henderson, and Nicholls has a potential second string in Real Steel.
