15:50 (Keeneland) - Goodnight Olive

Ce Ce put her Saratoga disappointment behind her with a good win in October, but she may struggle to reverse form with Goodnight Olive, who has looked imperious of late with five straight wins and a sixth looks achievable.
Echo Zulu looked as good as ever when winning over this distance in September and is another to note.

16:29 (Keeneland) - Golden Pal

Golden Pal warmed up for this with a comfortable success in the Grade 2 Woodford Stakes last month, and it will take a mighty performance to topple Wesley Ward's star sprinter on his home patch.

Ward has never made any secret of the regard in which he holds the son of Uncle Mo and he has only been beaten once from nine starts on American soil.

It is one of the trainer's biggest regrets that British racegoers have never seen the best of his horse of a lifetime, with Golden Pal beaten twice at Royal Ascot - most recently blowing the start in this year's King's Stand - and once in the Nunthorpe at York.
This weekend the four-year-old will meet the best sprinter Europe has to offer in John Quinn's triple Group One-winning mare Highfield Princess, but Ward feels she will have to produce something special if she is to get the better of Golden Pal on a track where he is unbeaten in four starts.
"The weather is hot and Golden Pal is jumping up and down and feeling a million dollars. It's tough to keep him on the ground right now - if he had wings he'd be flying. He knows what's coming," he said.
"He hasn't performed in England and I'm bummed out about that as he's such a special horse. I've been so excited going over there with him, but for whatever reason it hasn't worked out.
"He had bad luck at Ascot this year, that wasn't his fault, and when he went to York last year it wasn't Frankie's (Dettori) fault. The horse just didn't fire and I couldn't believe it.
"To me it doesn't matter who comes at him, especially here at this track. He's like no horse I've ever trained and I've trained some of the fastest on the grass, but I wouldn't want to put any of them against this guy."
Highfield Princess has notched up three Group 1 successes this season and she heads the list of dangers from Campanelle.

17:10 (Keeneland) - Cyberknife

Cody's Wish improved to land the Grade 1 Forego Stakes at Saratoga last time out and is respected alongside recent Grade 2 winner Laurel River, but they might have to give best to Cyberknife.
The son of Gun Runner chased home a couple of smart rivals in the Pennsylvania Derby in September and he could be the one.

17:50 (Keeneland) Nashwa

The John and Thady Gosden-trained three-year-old hasn't looked back since winning the Prix de Diane in June, landing the Nassau prior to a good second in the Prix de l'Opera.

The daughter of Frankel ought to appreciate the return to quicker ground conditions and she'll be tough to beat if at her best here.

Owned by Imad Al Sagar, she is ridden by Hollie Doyle as his retained jockey and before racing on Friday only two female riders have been successful at the meeting, Julie Krone and Rosie Napravnik.

Doyle is no stranger to breaking new ground, though, and now regularly rides over 100 winners a season and continues to add major victories to her CV, with 2022 another successful season.
"It is a dream for any jockey to win a Classic, so for Hollie to achieve that at 25 made me very happy and proud," said Al Sagar.
"Her discipline and love for her job is what makes her so good. Hollie is a very dedicated jockey, and she is very disciplined from all angles, and she loves her job.
"She is a very positive person. She looks at the positive side of everything and is always looking forward to her next ride. That eagerness for success has paid off."
Above The Curve and Tuesday look set to go well, along with In Italian, who won the First Lady Stakes at this venue last month.

18:30 (Keeneland) Jackie's Warrior

In what promises to be a thrilling Breeders' Cup Sprint, Jackie's Warrior looks the one to beat dropping back in trip following an excellent second over 7f in August.
He had previously sealed four consecutive wins, with three of those coming over 6f, and he can give another bold showing.
Elite Power and Kimari are others of interest.

19:10 (Keeneland) Modern Games

With some serious contenders heading to post for this ultra competitive Grade 1, marginal preference is for Modern Games, who arrives having filled the runner-up spot in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot last month.
Regal Glory has proven she can get involved at this level and is feared, along with Kinross and Dreamloper.

19:55 (Keeneland) Malathaat

There has been no stopping Malathaat of late and she arrives on a hat-trick bid having bolted up in a hotly-contested Grade 1 last month.
Nest steps up in class following an emphatic win in a Grade 2 most recently and seems a big threat, while Search Results can also have a say in proceedings.

20:40 (Keeneland) Nations Pride

Charlie Appleby arrives armed with a big chance as Rebel's Romance and Nations Pride fly the Godolphin flag on the back of their respective victories.

It is the latter that gets the tentative vote.

Both know what it takes to succeed overseas with Nations Pride a winner of both the Saratoga Derby and a Grade Three most recently, while his stablemate Rebel's Romance is unbeaten in his last four, scoring in Germany the last twice.
"For me you can't fault what Nations Pride has achieved over here and while he's not the finished model yet, we are where we want to be with him. He's essentially a mile-and-a-quarter horse who will get a mile and a half round here," said Appleby.
"In contrast Rebel's Romance is a solid mile-and-a-half horse who doesn't have the same level of acceleration and it will be more of an effort for him to be going around two turns."
War Like Goddess completes the shortlist.

21:40 (Keeneland) Flightline

This contest appears to revolve around the unbeaten superstar Flightline, who looks poised to maintain that status after romping home at Del Mar in the Pacific Classic.
If ever there was a horse to take the breath away, this is it. Talked about in America as perhaps the best since Secretariat, the John Sadler-trained colt is unbeaten in five starts and produced an incredible performance last time out.
Stepping up to 10 furlongs for the first time, the son of Tapit sent clock-watchers into a frenzy, with a scarcely-believable time figure for the Pacific Classic at Del Mar and Dubai World Cup winner Country Grammer the best part of 20 lengths in his wake.
"He never has hidden his talent. He has always shown great ability from day one," Sadler said.
"He's never disappointed us. We know we have a really super horse and we're just enjoying the process as we go forward.
"We're looking forward to the Breeders' Cup, you've got all kinds of terrific horses running on the day so we're looking forward to it.

"It's a really good field, you have the ascending three-year-olds, Epicenter, Taiba and the Derby winner (Rich Strike). Then you have these older horses that are terrific, Life Is Good, Olympiad - a bunch of really nice horses. It's going to be a good race, as far as the post (well) usually the post isn't too big a worry, especially at this distance.

"He's just an exceptional horse. He's like LeBron James, who we have here out in LA, he's a one-of-a-kind horse."
The main battle may be for the runner-up spot, which can be filled by Epicenter.
Life Is Good is another to consider.
