Monday's Ffos Las racing tips: Mountain Ash to climb to victory

Planet Sport tipsters are in Wales for Monday's afternoon meeting at Ffos Las on September 26.

Starting to get a bit chilly now, suggest you bring at coat if you are heading down to south west Wales on Monday afternoon. Brolly might be a good idea too.
Here's a quick snapshot of Planet Sport's tips, with a bit of extra detail on our highlighted horses below that. You can follow all the latest racecards and results using our live centre at Ffos Las.

Selections:

13:25 (Ffos Las) King Charles

14:00 (Ffos Las) Arrest

14:35 (Ffos Las) Mountain Ash

15:10 (Ffos Las) Wisper

15:45 (Ffos Las) Ange De L'amour

16:20 (Ffos Las) Liangel Hope
16:55 (Ffos Las) Some Nightmare

14:00 (Ffos Las) Arrest

Arrest should take some catching as he attempts to follow up his Sandown victory in the British EBF Future Stayers Novice Stakes.

John and Thady Gosden's son of Frankel finished third behind fellow Juddmonte-owned juvenile Nostrum at the Esher track on debut, beaten only three lengths in a promising performance.

That form got a boost in Thursday's Tattersalls Stakes at Newmarket, with Nostrum running out an impressive winner, and Arrest built on his opening effort when stepped up to a mile for his second start.
He shaded the verdict over Godolphin's Desert Order on that occasion and the runner-up has since taken a strong-looking Convivial Maiden Stakes at York's Ebor meeting. To add further substance to the result, the fifth and sixth at Sandown fought out the finish of a Goodwood maiden recently.
A €440,000 purchase as a yearling, there is a feeling this is only just the beginning of what Arrest could be capable of and he will surely be in line for action in Pattern contests before too long.

14:35 (Ffos Las) Mountain Ash

Course winner Chifa has been running well of late and makes more appeal than most, while Regulator will be a danger to all if taking up this engagement.
Preference, however, is for Mountain Ash, who may be winless since last May, but has gone close on a few occasions this season, including over course and distance last month.
Not far behind him on that occasion was Itsallaboutluck, who is another to note for a trainer who continues in excellent form.

15:45 (Ffos Las) Ange De L'amour

Ange De L'amour found the step up to Group Three company too hot to handle in the Dick Poole Stakes, but before that showed a good deal of ability and she could prove leniently treated off a mark of 73 in the Join Vickers.Bet Free Bet Club Nursery Handicap.
The improving King's Gem should be considered too. On a very workable mark for his handicap debut and his previous course and distance experience is a very useful tool to draw upon.
Zephina has to be of interest following her recent victory at Wolverhampton.
