Robert MacIntyre tipped to be crowned champion at the Wyndham Championship

Planet Sport tipster Jack Kelliher has longshot Robert MacIntyre as his number one pick for the Wyndham Championship, plus three big-priced selections.

Fresh from finishing T15th at last week's WGC-St Jude Invitational, Robert MacIntyre headlines this week's Wyndham Championship choices for in-form Planet Sport tipster Jack Kelliher, as the Scotsman looks to claim a first PGA Tour title.

Kelliher, who tipped Collin Morikawa to win the Open and Abraham Ancer to claim last week's event, believes that the 25-year-old, ranked 49th in the world, has certainly got a shot at silverware. With seven of the last 14 winners having only won the title for the first time, the stars may be aligning. This may just be MacIntyre's week with Kelliher cementing him as his top pick.

"His aggressive style will certainly suit the test that's on offer this week," says Kelliher.

"He attacks nearly every pin, he rolls his rockers as good as anyone on the European Tour, and I am backing him to transfer that ability to the PGA Tour and get his first win and cement his place on the Ryder Cup team for September.

"The first and headline selection of the week, Robert MacIntyre available at 50/1."

Jack also fancies Olympic silver medalist Rory Sabbatini to continue his impressive recent display this week.

"He is a player that plays Donald Ross courses as well as anybody. Eighth in strokes gained overall at Donald Ross tracks over the last 36 rounds.
"He is coming in slightly under the radar, a player you may not have heard of, but Rory Sabbatini at 80/1 will be my third selection of the week."

Jack's next selection certainly has some backing behind him, and we can see why.

"Another player that fits the criteria of seeking his first win on the PGA Tour is Talor Gooch and I think this low scoring test will suit him," Kelliher says.

"His win on the Web.com Tour came at 18-under-par and I think this test this week will be right up his street. He is also second in Strokes Gained Approach over the past 36 rounds.

"Fourth selection of the week, 66/1 with six places, Taylor Gooch."

To complete Jack's selections, he has chosen to go with the 33-year-old South African Branden Grace, priced at 66/1.
