'Tis the season: Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods star in Christmas-themed videos

Luke Donald and Rory McIlroy teamed up for a hilarious Christmas-themed spoof of the film Love Actually, while Tiger Woods starred in a special festive season advert from TaylorMade.

Team Europe's Ryder Cup Donald shared the video on his Twitter account, which sees him and McIlroy putting together a parody of one of the most well-known scenes from the 2003 festive romantic comedy.
In their own version of the scene, which originally starred Keira Knightley and Andrew Lincoln, Donald is seen standing outside McIlroy's home with messages written over several large cue cards, drawing the Northern Irishman's attention.
Donald's message starts: "With any luck this by this time next year, I will be a Ryder Cup winning captain."
He then shows a mocked photo of him holding the Ryder Cup trophy, before adding: "But for now let me say, without hope or agenda, just because it's Christmas (and we tell the truth at Christmas), to me you are almost perfect.
"And the only way I can love you any more, would be if you you play like this guy at the Ryder Cup in Rome," he adds, showing a picture of Jon Rahm, who was one of the few bright spots for Europe at the 2021 Ryder Cup, which the Americans dominated.
McIlroy also stars in another Christmas-themed video this festive season, joining Tiger Woods, Scottie Scheffler, Tommy Fleetwood, Charley Hull and Collin Morikawa in a special TaylorMade advert.
Woods takes center stage in the video, donning a top hat and Victorian-era attire as he conducts his fellow golfing stars in a rendition of 'We Wish you a Merry Christmas.'
McIlroy nearly derails the sing-along, however, after he loses his page and looks around in confusion as the other golfers carry on.
