PGA Tour news: Justin Rose leads weather-hit Pebble Beach Pro-Am ahead of Monday finish

Englishman Justin Rose has a two-shot lead heading into a Monday finish at the weather-affected AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

The tournament is playing catch-up after it was thrown off schedule on Saturday when play was suspended due to high winds.
Rose picked up an eagle and two birdies through nine holes of his final round on Sunday before play was suspended due to darkness.
The effort lifted his total for the tournament to 15 under par.
Rose was one of those most affected by the strong winds that resulted in play being called off on Saturday.
"We were one of those problematic groups there on the ninth hole where the ball was really moving around the cup," he said. "I hit a five-wood miraculously to three feet right before they blew the horn. As I was going to mark my ball it blew seven feet down the green."
The weather played up again Sunday morning, with an early hail storm briefly halting play.
"That was, like, what is going on," Rose said. "Like, what more can they throw at us this week?"
Rose holds a narrow two-shot lead from the chasing American trio of Denny McCarthy, Brendon Todd and Peter Malnati with nine holes to play.
Ireland's Seamus Power is tied for 21st on eight under, while Rose's compatriot Harry Hall has fallen back to equal-33rd after a strong start in California.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers won the amateur title, combining with PGA Tour playing partner Ben Silverman to shoot 26-under par.
"It's really significant," Rodgers said. "It's always been on my bucket list."
