PGA Tour news: Jon Rahm's incredible consistency returns as he makes his move at RBC Heritage
Masters champion Jon Rahm once again underlined his status as the best golfer on the planet as he bounced back with a high-quality 64 at the RBC Heritage on Friday.
Still feeling the effects of his Masters victory and celebrations in Thursday's first round at Hilton Head, the Spaniard struggled with an opening 72 to fall off the pace.
But aside from being a Masters champion, Rahm also happens to be the most consistent golfer around at the moment, and on Friday he immediately bounced back with a bogey-free seven-under-par 64 to move into contention at the halfway point of this week's PGA Tour stop in South Carolina.
While Friday's 64 still leaves him six strokes off the lead held by Jimmy Walker, that lead no longer seems to safe with Rahm seemingly back on song and with 36 holes left to play.
