Luke Donald adds Antoine Rozner and Richard Mansell to Hero Cup team

Antoine Rozner and Richard Mansell have been added to the inaugural Hero Cup team by Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald.

Rozner joins the Continental Europe side captained by Francesco Molinari after claiming his third DP World Tour title by five shots in Mauritius on Sunday.
Mansell completes the Great Britain and Ireland team, led by Tommy Fleetwood, after enjoying his best season to date on the DP World Tour, finishing 44th in the rankings.
"Having worked closely with Tommy and Fran on building the two teams, I'm delighted with the mix of players who will be on show at Abu Dhabi Golf Club in January," said Donald in November.
"We all thought it was important to combine experience and youthfulness and I think we have found that balance with a mixture of Major Champions and Ryder Cup players, alongside guys who are hoping to secure a spot in Rome next year."

The Hero Cup is aimed at boosting Europe's chances of regaining the Ryder Cup and effectively fills the gap left by the Seve Trophy, which was held eight times between 2000 and 2013 and gave captaincy experience to future Ryder Cup skippers Colin Montgomerie, Jose Maria Olazabal, Nick Faldo, Paul McGinley and Thomas Bjorn."

The event - set to tee off in Abu Dhabi in January - is a bi-annual event played in the same year as the Ryder Cup. Ten players in Great Britain & Ireland's team will play against ten players Continental Europe's team. The format of the event is the same as the Ryder Cup, three days of match play competition (fourballs, foursomes, singles). All players will participate in each session.
