European football is back with some mouth-watering clashes and the T20 Cricket World Cup continues. Planet Sport is here to help guide you through a busy week of TV in the sporting world.

There is something for everyone this week as European football resumes with some big matches, and the horse racing jumps season starts to take hold.

There's also plenty of gridiron action across the week for any night owls. Staying across the pond, the MLB playoffs continue with the American and National League Championship series.

Round one of the delayed T20 Cricket World Cup continues with Scotland and Ireland looking to advance. England begin their bid for the title on Saturday against the reigning champions, the West Indies.

Monday, October 18

Arsenal will look to build on an unbeaten September as they take on Crystal Palace in their first game after the international break.

Their manager Mikel Arteta was named September Manager of the Month - in doing so he became the first Arsenal boss to win a manager of the month award since 2015.
