What is on the telly this week? Your sporting TV guide October 11-17

This week is jam-packed with sporting action as domestic soccer returns and the IPL enters the playoffs. To help guide you through it all is the Planet Sport sporting TV guide.

Even though it is still an international break, there is still plenty of action for you to enjoy.

The IPL's champion will be crowned this week and the MLB playoffs continue to play out. The Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters takes place as the 2022 Tour de France route is presented.

There is plenty of American Football as well as the second game of the 2021 NFL London series. The domestic soccer season returns on Friday with some Championship action before the Premier League follows suit on Saturday.

Monday, October 11

Week Five of the NFL season reaches its conclusion when the Indianapolis Colts travel to the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens will look to move to 4-1 whilst the Colts will be looking to register their second win of the season.

There is a good omen for Baltimore fans as their quarterback Lamar Jackson is 7-0 in the month of October. The only quarterback to have achieved such a feat.

Mookie Betts was key to the Los Angeles Dodgers winning the World Series last season

Despite winning 106 out of 162 games, the Los Angeles Dodgers could only achieve a spot in the Wild Card game. Now they face the team that stopped them from winning the division, the San Francisco Giants. Anyone that stays up till the early hours will be treated to some spectacular action.

The ICC men's T20 World Cup finally gets underway - the tournament was supposed to take place in 2020 but was rescheduled due to COVID-19.

The NFL London Series continues as the Miami Dolphins take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It is the second game of this year's London Series after the Atlanta Falcons beat the New York Jets 27-10 the week before.
