Premier League Darts Night 10 tips and predictions: Luke Littler to make it back-to-back night wins in Manchester

The Premier League is turning into a Luke domination and it's hard to see anyone other than Littler or Humphries claiming the night 10 victory as the darting roadshow moves to Manchester.

This year's edition of the Premier League is turning into a battle of the Lukes, with the last night that was won by someone not called Luke being night five in Exeter, when Nathan Aspinall was victorious.

Littler was impressive in Belfast beating Humphries, Michael Van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall on the way to his maiden night win and he will be refreshed having missed the German Darts Grand Prix in Munich.

While Humphries may have lost to Littler last week, he capitalised on the 17-year-old's absence in Munich by romping to victory, hammering Van Gerwen in the final and averaging a whopping 112.66 in his 8-1 demolition of the Dutchman.

If the scriptwriters have their way, we could have a rematch between the pair in Manchester's final, but the chasing pack will be looking to close the gap.

Littler faces Van Gerwen in the quarter-finals and the other quarter-final in that half of the draw sees Aspinall take on Rob Cross.

Humphries takes on Michael Smith in his quarter-final, while there's a tungsten tussle at the bottom of the table between Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright.

Night 10 quarter-final schedule (1900 BST)

Nathan Aspinall vs Rob Cross

Luke Littler vs Michael Van Gerwen

Michael Smith vs Luke Humphries

Gerwyn Price vs Peter Wright

World Matchplay champion Aspinall looks to extend his good form against Cross, whom the Asp has beaten in all four of their Premier League meetings this year.

The Asp, who is currently fourth in the table, has won all four of his meetings with Voltage this season and is looking to tighten his grip on the final play-off spot.

Voltage started the season well but has stuttered in recent weeks, exiting at the quarter-final stage in the last three weeks.

Aspinall to win this one looks like the way to go.

Littler faces Van Gerwen in the second quarter-final of the night and despite being level in his head-to-head with the three-time world champion, he'll come into this one as favourite.

The teenage sensation beat MVG in last week's semi-final and looked in good form and the Dutchman has won just one match across the last five Premier League nights.

In the other half of the draw, there's a battle between the past two world champions, Humphries and Smith.

Cool Hand Luke has been in brilliant form and was on the wrong side of a deciding-leg thriller against 'the Nuke' last week, which brought his winning streak to an end.

During his victory tour he beat Smith twice in nightly finals and Bully Boy has been very hit-and-miss recently so he can't afford to be off the pace against the world champion.

The other quarter-final in that half of the draw sees basement boys Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright clash.

Price has just seven points to his name this season and has only won once since night three in Glasgow, while Snakebite has won just two matches across the whole tournament, but one of them came last week against Cross.

Whatever the outcome of the final quarter-final, either will struggle against Humphries in his current form and we can see another battle of the Lukes in the final.

Which Luke will previal? We're going for Littler as his wait for a night win eventually ended last week and we think that night wins for the 17-year-old will come like London buses.
