Fallon Sherrock begins World Championship qualification bid in MODUS Super Series Week Seven

Fallon Sherrock will make her MODUS Super Series debut this week as she aims to secure a slot in Champions Week and the chance to compete for the £20,000 champion’s cheque.

Sherrock, who landed the Women's World Matchplay title in July, is scheduled to begin her MODUS Super Series campaign on December 8th as she competes in Week Seven at the brand-new, purpose-built venue in Portsmouth.
Sherrock's MODUS Super Series debut will come hot on the heels of her qualification for the PDC World Championship in December 2022.
Fallon Sherrock said: "I can't wait to compete in the MODUS Super Series - I was at the opening night of the inaugural campaign and it was a fantastic atmosphere.
"It is a hugely valuable addition to the circuit, offering non-Tour Card holders a chance to compete regularly on a big stage, giving more players the chance to turn pro. Conan Whitehead's title success in the first series just shows what a great platform it can be for those taking part.
"I know it's going to be fierce competition all the way, and whoever eventually makes it through to Champions Week and wins the MODUS Super Series title will deserve it. Hopefully I'll be the one that's able to get their name on the trophy this time around!"
Billy Lovell, MODUS Super Series Head of Operations, said: "The players have really got behind the MODUS Super Series and as one of the most exciting names in darts, it's now Fallon's turn to make her MODUS Super Series debut.
"We've seen so many brilliant battles and magic moments since the tournament's launch - none more so than Conan Whitehead's epic title triumph - and I'm sure Fallon will be part of some more thrilling action."
All MODUS Super Series matches are broadcast LIVE on Sporty Stuff TV (SKY 437, Freesat 250, Freeview 264), and online at sportystuff.tv, the MODUS Super Series YouTube Channel, and across major sportsbook websites.
The MODUS Super Series is open to non-PDC (Professional Darts Corporation) Tour Card holders over the age of 18 and legends from the sport, with Lisa Ashton, Jarred Cole, Neil Duff, Kevin Painter, Mikuru Suzuki and Thibault Tricole among the other well-known names.
Each week, 12 players compete in a series of group matches on Monday to Friday, with six qualifiers facing off in front of a live audience at Finals Night on each Saturday evening. After 13 weeks, the 12 previous weekly winners compete in Champions Week to be crowned the MODUS Super Series champion and receive a £20,000 champion's cheque.
