South Africa vs India second Test day two: Tips and suggested bets

An incredible first day of action in the second Test between South Africa and India has moved things along considerably, and the risk of rain over the weekend impacting a result is now incredibly slim after Newlands swallowed up 23 wickets to start.

South Africa's decision to bat first looked foolish when they were 55 all out and even worse when India were 153 for 4 with KL Rahul and Virat Kohli getting to be set, but there would still be a twist as India then suffered a remarkable collapse of their own losing seven wickets on the same score of 153.

Another bold punter option is taking on the Aiden Markram Over/Under 99.5 Runs; going over will require a hero's innings from the Proteas star, but he is certainly capable of delivering just that and has a good mixture of attack and defence in his technique.

Bedingham is a good candidate for getting bowled out by someone as deceptive as Mohammad Siraj, which brings up the likelihood of the next dismissal bucking the trend of caught in this match so far.
