Yorkshire's Adam Lyth given green light to resume bowling his occasional off-spin

Yorkshire's Adam Lyth has been cleared to bowl in county cricket after having his action verified by independent analysts.

The former England opener is primarily a batter and only bowls occasional off-spin, but had his action flagged following the Vitality Blast semi-final against Lancashire in July.
He was suspended from bowling in competitive domestic matches on August 9 after an independent assessment found his elbow extended beyond the 15 degrees allowed by the laws.
The 35-year-old, who also represents Northern Superchargers in The Hundred, returned to Loughborough for a fresh assessment this month after amending his technique and passed.
