All the teams, squads and players for the inaugural SA20 tournament set to get underway in Cape Town

The inaugural season of the SA20 kicks off in Cape Town on Tuesday, January 10 with the the first of the 33-game tournament between MI Cape Town and the Paarl Royals at Newlands.

The six franchises participating in the competition were all purchased by owners of IPL teams and are MI Cape Town, Paarl Royals, Joburg Super Kings, Durban Super Giants, Pretoria Capitals, and Sunrisers Eastern Cape.
Each team will play every other team twice during the league round. The four teams with the most points in the table at the end of the league round will advance to the semifinals. The final of SA20 2023 will take place on February 11 in Johannesburg.
