Suryakumar Yadav shines with 111 as India crush New Zealand by 65 runs in second T20I

Suryakumar Yadav hit an unbeaten 111 off just 51 balls as India won the second T20 international against New Zealand by 65 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

Yadav hit seven sixes and 11 fours, with his second half-century coming from just 17 balls, as the tourists posted 191 for six in Mount Maunganui.

New Zealand lost Finn Allen to the second ball of their reply and were bowled out for 126 as off-spinner Deepak Hooda claimed four for 10 in 2.5 overs.

The first match of the series was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
