Moeen Ali warns England of 'dangerous' West Indies batsmen after second T20I match

England managed to withstand a late rally from the West Indies to win their second T20 match by just one run.

England suffered a disappointing defeat in the series opener, losing by nine-wickets after being bowled out for 103. But, the tourists enjoyed a much better performance in the second match.
After setting a target of 172, England looked like they'd cruise to victory after the West Indies tumbled from 47 for two to 65 for seven.
However, the duo of Romario Shepherd and Akeal Hosein gave England a scare, both reaching 44 not out to mount a late comeback.

England eventually extinguished the fight back in the final over, but three successive sixes from Hosein off Saqib Mahmood left the score looking far closer than it perhaps should have.

Moeen Ali, who took format-best figures of three for 24 at Barbados' Kensington Oval, praised his side's performance, but insisted they can improve for the remaining matches of the series.
"Obviously the game was done with three balls to go but with Shepherd still in and the way it went down, it never quite felt like we were over the line till the last ball," Moeen said.
"Even though they were six or seven down for not many runs, they were never quite out of the game, they're such a dangerous team. They've got so much talent, so much power.
"The fact they bat all the way down to number 10 makes them extremely dangerous. For them to lose by one run, it's actually quite scary, their batting line-up is very scary.
"We're glad to get the win but we could do a lot of things better. It is a lesson for the guys. We know we haven't even played that well there and we still won the game."
The win levelled the series at one apiece, but the West Indies will take much more comfort from their one-run defeat than England can from their nine-wicket thumping.
Having now shown their batting depth, England will know their levels need to increase for Wednesday's match, but Ali insists that they're more than capable of improving.
"We know we can play better and they know that they really put us under pressure here, particularly at the end. But for most of the game we dominated.
"They can take a lot of positives and confidence from this but we did win the game so they will be very wary that we are going to try to perform better. I think it's going to be a very tight series."
When asked about where the balance of power lay ahead of the next game, the 34-year-old added that even after their late batting surge, momentum doesn't lie solely with the West Indies.
"If we were 2-0 down, they would certainly be taking all of the momentum. But I think both teams will be pretty happy."
