England all-rounder Liam Livingstone out of Hundred and doubt for T20 tour

England all-rounder Liam Livingstone has joined Jos Buttler on the treatment table ahead of the white-ball tour of Pakistan across September and October.

England all-rounder Liam Livingstone has joined Jos Buttler on the treatment table ahead of the white-ball tour of Pakistan across September and October.

The 29-year-old has been ruled out of Birmingham Phoenix's remaining two league games of The Hundred against the Manchester Originals on Sunday and London Spirit on Tuesday with an ankle injury.

He would also miss the Hundred eliminator and final if the side reached those stages of the competition.
Buttler suffered a calf problem playing for Manchester Originals against Southern Brave on August 18, and now the pair are both potential doubts for the seven-match T20 series which starts on September 20.
"Liam Livingstone has been ruled out of the remainder of The Hundred with an ankle injury," a Birmingham Phoenix statement on Sunday read.
"Livingstone will be replaced by Nottinghamshire batter Sol Budinger who will join the squad immediately ahead of Sunday's home fixture against Manchester Originals."
