Australia secure 115-run win against Pakistan thanks to Nathan Lyon masterclass

After drawing the first two Tests, Australia claimed a famous series victory in Pakistan for the first time in 24 years.

Pakistan resumed the final day on 73-0 in a chase of 351, but off-spinner Nathan Lyon and captain Pat Cummins launched an all-out assault on the final day in Lahore.
Lyon took five for 83 while Cummins contributed with an impressive three for 23 as the hosts went all out for 235.
Pakistan's day started miserably, as they quickly slid to 167 for five. Captain Babar Azam managed a stubborn 55 to keep his side in contention, but he also became a victim of Lyon with the score sat at 213.
Pakistan opener Imam Ul-Haq can hold his head high after top-scoring for his team with 70 from 199 deliveries, but an overall disappointing batting performance saw Australia win a Test series in Pakistan for just the third time.
It was also Australia's first overseas Test series victory in six years, while it was their first in Asia since beating Sri Lanka in 2011.
The two sides will now face off in three one-day internationals as well as a T20 international, with the first of those upcoming matches starting on Tuesday, March 29.
