Alana King hopes Shane Warne is ‘proud’ after claiming first ever Women’s Hundred hat-trick

Alana King stamped her name in the history books after becoming the first player to produce a hat-trick in the Women’s Hundred.
King's performance was not only historic, but it also propelled the Trent Rockets to a comfortable victory over the Manchester Originals.
Fresh from winning a gold medal in the Commonwealth Games with Australia, King enjoyed a near-perfect day with the bat, ball and in the field.
Her side claimed the 43-run victory at Emirates Old Trafford as seven of the Originals' 10 wickets fell to spin in their failed pursuit of 119.
Rockets' Abbey Freeborn top-scored with an unbeaten 45 off 38 amongst a solid bowling and fielding effort from the home side.
But it was King, who scored a quick 19 off nine, claimed four for 15 off 20 with the ball, and took a fantastic catch to round her performance off, who will rightly take the headlines on a historic day.
Speaking after the match, King told Sky Sports: "The hat-trick is pretty special. I hope [Shane Warne] is looking down and is pretty proud I spun it a bit. That's my first hat-trick. Not even in juniors did I take one. My first hat-trick at Old Trafford, I couldn't have written it.
"Will I get my name up here at Old Trafford? That would be brilliant. Hopefully right next to Warnie. He took poles for fun here.
"I am here to do the job for the team and it came off. The pitch was dry and I am glad there was some spin.
"We have got our first win on the board and that's what I am pumped about. I am absolutely stoked. It is a great atmosphere and [the Rockets] are a great bunch of girls."
