5th Ashes Test betting boosts: Stuart Broad bullies David Warner, another Zak Crawley ton and more

The fifth and final Ashes Test will start at The Oval in London this week. See our boosted odds for some intriguing markets.

England may not be able to win the Ashes in 2023 but they still have plenty to play for in the 5th Test at The Oval and Planet Sport Bet have some interesting boosted markets for the match.

Zak Crawley to score a first-innings century

Crawley is still averaging just over 30 in Test cricket after 70 innings. That's poor for a Test batsman, particularly an opener. But Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes have said, for the most part, they're not necessarily looking for a big average from Crawley.
What they do want is characteristic flashes of brilliance from him, which we witnessed last week. His brisk 189 would likely have won the match for England, had the rain not interfered. That was his fourth Test century. This week could bring a fifth.

Stuart Broad to get David Warner out in first innings

Broad's record against Warner is well, publicly documented. The Englishman has dismissed the Australian 17 times in Test cricket. Broad is frequently brimming with confidence, but particularly so after reaching 600 Test wickets recently.
This is potentially the last time we'll see both players in Ashes cricket, more so Warner. Look forward to another intriguing battle between the left-handed batsman and right-arm seamer.

England to score over 500 runs in first innings

England amassed 592 in their first innings in Old Trafford. Good batting conditions - and their unrelenting 'Bazball' approach - could translate to another high-scoring affair in the first innings at The Oval.
If Crawley doesn't fire, there's Moeen Ali, Joe Root and Harry Brook to follow. Thereafter, there's Stokes and Jonny Bairstow. They just keep coming. Australia's seamers are tiring, even if rotated.

Marnus Labuschagne to score a first-innings century

Labuschagne had a relatively quiet series with the bat prior to last week's century in Manchester.
The ton effectively retained the Ashes title for Australia. With the pressure somewhat off, Labuschagne could be freed - and more importantly free himself - to ton up again this week. He's targeting a 12th century in his 43rd Test.
