Lauren Price is one fight away from competing for gold in the middleweight division.
The world number one has justified her ranking winning both of her fights 5-0 at the Tokyo Games.
Price - the Welsh female to fight at the Olympics - has defeated Mongolia's Munkhbat Myagmarjarga and Panama's Atheyna Bylon in convincing fashion.
She comes up against a familiar face in the semi-finals. Netherlands' Nouchka Fontijn has been in the ring with Price on four occasions - both women have tasted victory twice.
Price has won the last two bouts via split decision and majority decision in 2019.
Fontijn - who beat Poland's Elzbieta Wojcik and Canada's Tammara Thibeault in Japan - is 10/3 to overcome Price.
Price admits even being at the Olympics is an achievement but is now planning on making even more history.
"This has been my dream since I was an eight-year-old. Just to be an Olympian, let alone win a medal," Price said.
"It is amazing to have medalled, but I always want more. I always want to succeed no matter what tournament it is. I believe I am in the best shape of my career."
