Tommy Fury beats Jake Paul by split decision in Saudi Arabia

Tommy Fury silenced Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia after winning their eight round contest by split decision.

Fury claimed his biggest win and delivered Paul's first defeat of his short professional career after judges scored the fight 74-75, 76-73, 76-73.

Fury was dropped to a knee in the last round and both fighters had a point docked, but the Brit did enough to claim the victory. Although both failed to deliver the knockout they had both promised in the build-up.
Fury said: "For the past this is all that has consumed my life! Everybody thought I was running scared but tonight I make my own legacy! This was for you Bambi I love you!
"All the way through, I had a dream and a vision that I would win this fight but now everyone can stand up and take note! I had pressure on my shoulders and I came through! This to me is a world title fight it was my destiny, guys we did it."
"100% this is my first main event, I am going to get bigger and better and if he wants a rematch bring it on."

Paul said: "All respect to Tommy he won, judge me by my wins judge me by my losses. I don't know if I agree with the judges, it is what it is but that is the boxing world. I have won in every single way already in life! I have made it further than I ever what I thought.

"I'll take it on the chin but we can run it back.
"Honestly I felt flat, I got sick really bad twice in this camp and injured my arm. I am not making my excuses, it was just tough in this camp. But judge me by my losses. 100% let us run it back!"
KSI was quick off the blocks to taunt the duo.
