Lee Selby still on Vasyl Lomachenko collision course

Selby still on Lomachenko course
Lee Selby has no doubts he will see off George Kambosos Jr in Cardiff in May as he plots a path to taking on Vasiliy Lomachenko.
Welshman Selby takes on the unbeaten Australian in their IBF final eliminator on May 9 and victory would give him a guaranteed shot at the IBF belt, held by Teofimo Lopez.
Unified champion Lomachenko is close to finalising a bout with Lopez and Selby would then hope to take on the winner as he remains focused on becoming a two-weight world champion.
Selby expects Kambosos Jr to be a tricky opponent in the Welsh capital but he believes he will overcome him, just like he previously did when taking on fellow Australians Corey McConnell and Joel Brunker.
He told Sky Sports: 'I'm one step away now from a shot at the IBF lightweight world title and my dream of becoming Wales' first ever two-weight world champion.
'Kambosos Jr is a hungry young fighter that I know will bring it all, but I've had some of my best performances against Australian boxers stopping both Corey McConnell and Joel Brunker in title fights and May 9 will be no different.'
