Savannah Marshall ready to impress on Oleksandr Usyk-Derek Chisora undercard

Savannah Marshall is relishing the chance to fight on the Oleksandr Usyk vs Derek Chisora undercard against Hannah Rankin.
The 'Silent Assassin' was due to face Rankin for the vacant WBO middleweight world title in Peterborough on the Lewis Ritson vs Miguel Vazquez undercard.
This had to be postponed after Marshall's trainer, Peter Fury, tested positive for COVID-19.
Thankfully, it has not taken long for the fight to be rescheduled as it is set for this Saturday on the undercard for Usyk vs Chisora.
The original fight was due to take place on Sky Sports, while the rescheduled bout is to take place on pay-per-view.

Hannah Rankin was gutted when her world title fight with Savannah Marshall was called off, but remained convinced that she'll become world champion.

Marshall told the Telegraph that she is relishing the opportunity to fight on Sky Sports Box Office as one of the night's chief supporting contests:
"Honestly, it has been a dream to have the fight rescheduled so quickly, and on this card. After the past week, I've just been overjoyed with the news. I couldn't have asked for a better or bigger platform than on the Usyk-Chisora bill.
"It was frustrating that the fight fell through, but it's one of those things. There was nothing I could have done about it. Peter is okay which is the main thing."
This is going under the radar compared to Usyk vs Chisora, but it has the potential to be a really cracking fight on Saturday night.
It is rare that we get an all-British world title fight, and this should an entertaining fight. It is also surrounded with unique circumstances, with it being put back a couple of weeks. It is unknown how this will have impacted either fighter's mindset, but the delay will have made a difference.
Marshall is the favourite to get the victory, but Rankin will no doubt bring the fight to the Geordie boxer to make sure it is a tough evening. This could easily surprise a few people and be the fight of the night.
