Are negotiations are underway for Mike Tyson vs Logan Paul in February?

According to an influencer, we could be looking at Mike Tyson back in action against Logan Paul - and we thought 2021 was a strange year...

Snoop Dog has had his say about a potential clash between heavyweight legend Mike Tyson and Logan Paul.

Both men have been in two of the most lucrative bouts since the global pandemic in 2020. Tyson returned to the ring at the age of 55 and fought Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition last year - a bout that went the full eight rounds.

While it was deemed as a draw, Tyson dominated the fight throughout. It is believed to have generated more than one million pay-per-view buys in America.

Paul meanwhile took on the greatest of a generation in Floyd Mayweather in the summer - an exhibition which also went the full distance, ending in a draw with Mayweather unable to knockout the novice.

According to Sportico, it also did a million buys. The YouTuber fought Mayweather at a catchweight of 190lbs and while he got dominated throughout, he wrestled his way to the end without hitting the canvas.

Logan Paul has now claimed that he has 'a punchers chance' against Tyson and would relish a fight against one of the biggest hitters in boxing history.

"Iron Mike" has spoken highly of the Paul brothers, with Jake Paul putting his undefeated professional record on the line against Tommy Fury on December 18. It is believed current heavyweight king Tyson Fury will be in the corner of his brother Tommy for the Florida showdown.

A possible Tyson-Paul encounter is being talked about for February, according to influencer Keem.

Snoop Dog has dismissed Paul's chances of somehow winning should the pair collide on the Joe Rogan Podcast.

"C'mon Joe, quit playing with me, man. It's Mike Tyson we talking about," he said.

"This is not a regular mother. It may trigger his old instincts. That mother is still in there! I predict a second-round KO [for Tyson].

Rogan then chimed in, adding: "Yeah that kid's going to get hit, for sure."

To which Snoop replied: "Floyd [Mayweather] was hitting him... Floyd's power is nowhere near Mike Tyson's power."

Paul: I would beat up Mike Tyson

Logan is pretty confident about his chances against the "Baddest Man on the Planet" after revealing he has 'the reflexes of a cat'.

"Mike Tyson's too old," he told reporters at his brother Jake's press conference.

"So what happens if I fight Mike Tyson? I beat up an old man? That's not cool.

"Bro, what are we talking about? He's too old dude. I got the reflexes of a cat. Like a young, quick feline, brother."

"I love Mike, I can't fake it, but I think I can beat Mike.

"Bro, I'm telling you, I would f**king beat up Tyson. If people would watch that fight then yeah I'd do it.

"We saw with Floyd, dude. There's no f**king reason that I should have been able to last - not just last, Floyd's on my highlight reel dog. There's no reason that should be possible.

"He's ageing. Father time takes a toll on everyone and Tyson's 56. What happens if I go in there and knock him out? For what?"
