Mike Tyson offered a chance to become heavyweight world champion aged 54

“I’ll take on Mike Tyson for a tune-up, and then I’ll fight either Joshua or Fury the same night.”

Trevor Bryan has welcomed a heavyweight showdown with Mike Tyson, despite the latter being 23 years older than the WBA 'regular' titleholder.
The American - who won the vacant secondary belt against Bermane Stiverne via TKO - would be open to a 'tune-up' fight with the former undisputed heavyweight champion.

Tyson returned to the ring last November and fought in an eight round exhibition against fellow boxing legend Roy Jones Jr.

The Baddest Man on the Planet, 54, was in action for the first time since hanging up the gloves in 2005 and is in line to face Lennox Lewis, 55, in a rematch this fall.

Evander Holyfield also wants to take on Tyson in a trilogy bout although talks appear to have broken down between the two teams.

"Bring on Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. I'll take their belts and become the undisputed heavyweight champion," Bryan said.

"I'll even give Iron Mike Tyson the opportunity to come back and fight me for my title. I'm more than ready, so let's get it on. We are ready to go.

"I'll take on Mike Tyson for a tune-up, and then I'll fight either Joshua or Fury the same night."

Bryan is promoted by Don King, who worked alongside Tyson during the first phase of his career.

King was sued by Tyson for $100million for cheating him out of millions during his boxing career.
The court settlement ordered King to pay Iron Mike $14million in 2004.
It was a topsy-turvy relationship which also included Tyson throwing water over him in 2018 at a convention.
"That was me being immature, I shouldn't have done that," Tyson told Sirius XM.
"But, you know, he touched me, he tapped me on my shoulder... it's just, I don't know.
"He talked in there like he was my friend and that was just bullcrap."
