Legendary broadcaster Jim White joins ever-growing company Probellum

"We have a company which places the same emphasis on grassroots boxing on a global level as it does to promoting landmark events. I’m really looking forward to this - expect the unexpected."

Legendary radio and television presenter Jim White will serve as Probellum's first ambassador and will contribute to their promotion and programming in the coming months.
White is one of the best and most recognisable sports presenters around, having spent nearly 25 years working as the main anchor on Sky Sports News, becoming synonymous for his excellent coverage during Transfer Deadline Day each season.
He has since become one of the leading figures on talkSPORT, the world's biggest sports radio station, regularly hosting insightful and engaging discussions to a huge audience.
White will now be involved in a sport close to his heart by entering the boxing world with Probellum, becoming the latest big name to join the all-star talent line-up that is being assembled.
Probellum has already recruited well-respected presenter Ali Drew, expert pundit Paul Smith, and award-winning duo Adam Catterall and Nick Peet of the Fight Disciples to its talent line-up, with more big news set to be revealed over the coming weeks.
"I'm thrilled to be a part of Probellum. Previously at Sky Sports and now talkSPORT, I know first-hand how hugely popular the sport of boxing is with viewers and listeners all around the world," said White.
"But at last, we have a company which places the same emphasis on grassroots boxing on a global level as it does to promoting landmark events. I'm really looking forward to this - expect the unexpected."
"We are ecstatic to once again bolster our incredible on-air talent line-up by bringing in someone of Jim White's quality," said Richard Schaefer, President of Probellum. "Sports fans in the UK will be well aware of what a major name he is, and we know that fans around the world will soon admire his knowledge and charm too.
"Jim is a huge boxing fan so we're delighted he can now work closely in a sport he is passionate about. We know that he will be an instant hit, and it's yet another major statement of intent from Probellum."
Probellum has made waves in the boxing world over the past few weeks, signing a number of highly-talented boxers to promotional deals, such as Regis Prograis, Badou Jack, Eimantas Stanionis, Arthur Biyarslanov, Taras Shelestyuk, Ricky Burns, Eduardo Hernandez and Brandon Moore.
They have also secured co-promotional agreements with some of the biggest promoters around the world, including Wasserman Boxing, Universum in Germany, Maravillabox Promotions in Spain and many more.
