Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua relishing Kubrat Pulev challenge

British heavyweight Anthony Joshua says he cannot wait to defend his world titles against Kubrat Pulev on June 20 this summer.
Joshua will defend his IBF, WBO and WBA 'super' titles at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as he tries to move closer to a unification fight with WBC champion Tyson Fury. The 30-year-old will return home for the first time in two years after recent fights in New York and Saudi Arabia.
Joshua meets Pulev three years after the pair were supposed to clash, but an injury forced the Bulgarian to withdraw, and Joshua went on to beat replacement Carlos Takam. Pulev now 38, has only lost to Wladimir Klitschko in his 29-fight career, and he has beaten fellow Brits Derek Chisora and Hughie Fury in the past.
Joshua and Pulev will be the first boxers to fight at Tottenham's new home, and the Englishman says he cannot wait to make a big statement. He told Sky Sports: 'On June 20, I am defending my heavyweight world titles. I'm back in my home city after some time away.
A spectacular stadium has been built in north London, and I'm honoured to bring the boxing community from all over the world to witness us make history with the stadium's first heavyweight world title fight. 'The belts go back up in the air, and nothing will stop me from being victorious.'
