Josh Warrington opponent will be named within two weeks, says Eddie Hearn

Eddie Hearn and Josh Warrington are working on the latter's next opponent
Eddie Hearn has exclusively informed Boxing 365 the finer details of his deal with IBF world champion Josh Warrington.
In a shock three-fight deal, the 'Leeds Warrior' has re-joined Matchroom Boxing after seeing his contract with Frank Warren expire. Hearn is excited to get Warrington back out in May with the likes of Shakur Stevenson, Xu Can and Gary Russell Jr. all in the frame to face him at Headingley Stadium.
"I feel like I'm getting him back in his absolute prime, 29, No.1 featherweight in the division, fanbase better than ever, fresher than ever as a fighter and I'm excited about what's ahead," Hearn said.

"I didn't really tell anyone about this so only last night by talking to the other camps so there's a lot that's been going on even in 24 hours and now it's all very well on pitching to a fighter, now you've got to deliver on your promises and that's what we're looking to do.
"Three fights initially [with Warrington]. I expect him to end his career with us, there's a lot more than three fights but I've never been one to do three fights, five-year deals. When I've got a relationship with someone like Tony Bellew and Kell Brook, they were fight-by-fight not because you worry about the future but you got that relationship where you trust them."
Unification, Galahad rematch & American Dream
Hearn expects to confirm Warrington's next opponent within the next two weeks. With the featherweight signed to Matchroom for the next 18 months, the promoter has hinted Warrington will fight Yorkshire rival Kid Galahad in a rematch before moving up in weight to chase the American Dream.
"I see him as the unified champion and also probably moving up a division - he still makes featherweight well. He's got to fight Kid Galahad as well who's mandatory. I don't think he'd want to avoid him certainly the priority is to unify and we've got to manage Kid Galahad who produced a great performance last weekend but I think what he wants to do is to achieve some things that he hasn't. Box in America, unify the division so that's the priority."
