Johnny Nelson calls out Tyson Fury by claiming fight fans are growing tired of 'BS'

Former cruiserweight world champion Johnny Nelson claims fight fans are starting to grow tired of Tyson Fury's 'BS'.

Johnny Nelson believes fight fans are starting to see through Tyson Fury's 'BS' as proposed mega heavyweight showdowns continue to fall through.

The collapse of the proposed undisputed title bout between Fury and Oleksandr Usyk was the latest messy instalment in a series of nearly-fights between the two champions, joining Fury-Joshua and Joshua-Wilder in the growing list of massive contests that are yet to materialise.
And with Fury now insisting that a 'monstrous' fight is upcoming, Nelson is braced for further frustration and suspects that fans are starting to feel the same way.
It appears that he will fight either Joe Joyce's conqueror Zhilei Zhang or Andy Ruiz next. And while both contests would create some buzz, they are nowhere near what could have been when names like Usyk, Joshua and Wilder are continually mooted.
In an interview with iD Boxing, Nelson shared the frustration that the 'super fights' appear to be drifting further and further away.
Clearly calling out Fury, Nelson said: "I think that the public are now seeing through the 'BS'. I can't think of any top heavyweight fighter, where so many fights have fallen by the way side, for some reason or another, be it through negotiations or whatever it is.
"So, I think Tyson Fury will probably be his own worst enemy, but if you had to choose between the two [Zhilei Zhang or Andy Ruiz], I would choose Ruiz, that's what I do and that's how I'd work it."

Fury's next fight is expected to be announced soon, with a return to the ring set for July.

Another victory would then start the hype train again for a Middle East showdown with four-belt champion Usyk.
