Sheeraz started on the front foot and rocked his Argentinian opponent with a left hand in the early stages of the fight.
The Brit floored his opponent twice in the third round, but was also dropped to the canvas himself in an action-packed bout.
The undefeated Sheeraz was able to quickly recuperate and finished his opponent off with a big right hand in the fifth round.
The 23-year-old has won all 16 of his fights since turning professional in 2017, including 12 by way of knockout.
"I was sticking to the gameplan behind the jab," he told BT Sport.
"I knocked him down [but] I didn't respect his power, got a bit greedy and found myself on the canvas.
"If you hear [trainer] Ricky [Funez] in the corner, he's telling me to loop that right hand after a left hook and then we got him out of there. It was a great learning experience."
Elsewhere on the card, Lennox Clarke was stopped by Mark Heffron in the fifth round of their British super-middleweight championship bout.
Nick Ball extended his unbeaten run with a 12th round TKO victory over Nathanael Kakololo in the featherweight division.
Dennis McCann, on the other hand, finished off James Beech Jnr in just eight rounds as his corner threw in the towel.
