Gavin Gwynne vs Emiliano Marsili: Weigh-in results ahead of European championship showdown

Britain’s Gavin Gwynne will be looking to claim the European lightweight championship when he takes on Emiliano Marsili at York Hall on Friday night.

The 33-year-old returns to action for the first time since April as he prepares to go head-to-head with his 42-0-1 Italian opponent.

Gwynne himself is 16-2-1, picking up a TKO victory over Craig Woodruff in Cardiff last time out.

The Welshman has endured two professional defeats, including a loss against Joe Cordina back in 2019.

A win this Friday night against Marsili would put Gwynne on a path to bigger fights in 2024 as he looks to test himself at world level.

Brad Strand is also setting his sights on European honours as he prepares to square off with Joshua John.

Fans in the UK can watch the event live on TNT Sports from 7pm. Below are the results from Thursday’s weigh-in.
