Eddie Hearn would love to make Demetrius Andrade vs Chris Eubank Jr. fight

“Let’s see what happens on Saturday with Chris Eubank but I have no problem bringing Andrade to the UK..."

Eddie Hearn has revealed he would love to bring Demetrius Andrade to the UK for a fight against Chris Eubank Jr.

WBO world middleweight champion Andrade made his return after over a year out of the ring last Saturday.

"Boo Boo" overcame a brave Liam Williams, dropping and outpointing him via unanimous decision to make four successful defences of his world title.

Eubank Jr. has not fought since December 2019. He beat Matvey Korobov, who was unable to continue past the second round as a result of a shoulder injury.

He is back in action this weekend on Sky Sports Box Office, on a bill headlined between heavyweights Derek Chisora and Joseph Parker.

The 31-year-old will face hometown boy Marcus Morrison, who is on a seven-fight winning streak.

After Andrade's win over Williams, Hearn named the likes of Jermall Charlo and Gennadiy Golovkin as potential future opponents.

"Eubank vs Andrade? I like this fight," Hearn said during an Instagram live.

"Let's see what happens on Saturday with Chris Eubank but I have no problem bringing Andrade to the UK to fight Chris Eubank Jr. for the world title."

Eubank will have to get past Morrison if he wants to fight Andrade. 'Sweet MNM' told Sky Sports that he can stop Eubank:

"I'm always dangerous," Morrison said. "Only a fool would not respect my power.

"I do carry the punch power to knock Chris Eubank Jr. out. I do absolutely believe it.

"When you put two fighters in, like me and Chris who can both punch, you're in for an exciting fight.
"I've gone over the fight many times in my head. If I'm honest, I've not thought too much about the ending, but all I know is that on May 1st, it's going to be explosive.
"I honestly think the fans are in for a treat. When you put two fighters in, like me and Chris who can both punch, you're in for an exciting fight."

Andrade vs Eubank Jr? Yes please…

Given the records of Morrison and Eubank, you have to consider the latter to be a heavy favourite on Saturday night.

Morrison has defeats on his record to Jason Welborn, Tyan Booth and Alistair Warren but is undefeated in his previous seven fights and given both of their ring-rust, will fancy an upset win.

If Eubank can come through this weeked, a bout with Andrade would be an exciting showdown with Eubank desperate to become world champion and Andrade craving a signiture win.

The winner of the proposed fight would be in line for a potential unification with Golovkin or Charlo.
