Dmitry Bivol marches on with points decision win against Gilberto Ramirez

Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol continued his remarkable rise up the sport with another impressive performance to outclass Gilberto Ramirez and earn a unanimous points decision win.

Bivol was returning to the ring for the first time since his stunning upset win over Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez where he won the WBA light-heavyweight title.
There were a lot of eyes on the fight wondering if he would be able to replicate the form that allowed him to upset Alvarez or if it was just a flash in the pan.
The Russian comfortably lived up to the billing, looking comfortable throughout and claiming a dominant 118-110, 117-111 (twice) win.
"I have a goal; I wanna be undisputed champion, but it doesn't all depend on me," Bivol said after the fight.
"If it all depends on me, I fight for all four belts. ... I hope they are listening to me, what I want. I'm like a kid who has a dream; I want to go with this dream."
