Dillian Whyte has pleaded with Dana White to give him a call after telling the UFC President to ‘hit me up’.

The British heavyweight, mandatory to Tyson Fury’s WBC world title, will take on Alexander Povetkin on July 4 in Manchester, England after getting rescheduled.

However, the ‘Bodysnatcher’ flirted with the temptation of switching to the cage after calling out former two-time UFC champion Stipe Miocic.
The Brixton boxer said: "He'll [Miocic] just try to take me down but he might go to sleep before I go down though,” before claiming he’d KO Francis Ngannou of Cameroon.
Whyte is a former kickboxing champion and has fought in MMA before, winning his sole fight in the cage with a 12 second victory over Mark Stroud.

Fury considered MMA switch

He’s not the only active heavyweight who has contemplated making the switch over.
UFC’s White spoke about the Gypsy King being ‘very interested’ in crossing over to compete in the Octagon following discussions.
Fury later sent fans into meltdown after informing Sky Sports about his decision to train with ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor

"I think Conor is an absolutely fantastic fighting man. He has offered to train me if I ever want to go into MMA.
"What better trainer could I have than The Notorious Conor McGregor?
"I'm looking forward to coming to train with Conor. We're going to get it all planned in and I should be over in Dublin quite soon.
"I'll definitely be coming over for a training session, that is for sure.
"I have been MMA training with Darren Till in Liverpool. I really enjoy the new challenge.
"I don't know where or when [I'll make my MMA debut] because after I finish my boxing career I fancy my hand at MMA as well."

McGregor, who returned to winning ways with victory over Donald Cerrone at UFC 246, later denied the baffling statement from Fury, despite welcoming the rumour.
“I know Tyson [Fury] has been talking a lot. Tyson keeps saying me and him spoke and said I would train him. I never spoke to Tyson in me life, so I don’t know why he’s saying that.

“It’s not a bad little story, so I let it roll.
“Tyson’s a good man. I like him. He’s a great boxer, phenomenal boxer. Probably the best natural boxer in the heavyweight division at this time.
“So, who knows? I wouldn’t say he is just saying he’d do it and not do it, like a lot of them do. I would say Tyson would probably do it in time.”
