Conor McGregor says 'I accept' to a rematch against Floyd Mayweather

The pair fought in 2017 with Mayweather beating the Irishman via TKO in the tenth round.

Conor McGregor has sent fans into meltdown over his Facebook post.
The former two-division UFC world champion uploaded an image of him landing a body shot on Floyd Mayweather during their crossover fight.

McGregor - who reportedly made $100m in the second highest generating fight in boxing history, just behind Mayweather-Pacquiao - said 'I accept' underneath the photo.

While Mayweather has not spoken about the possibility of a rematch between the pair, it is something which is sure to put him on alert having fought former sparring partner Don Moore and Logan Paul in recent exhibition fights.

Both men have something in common - they love making money and if there is enough interest then neither would turn that chance down.
The pair collided in 2017 and while Mayweather eventually won inside the distance, the pay-per-view event did 4.3 million sales in America.
Since the highest payday of his career, McGregor has won just one fight from his last four UFC bouts, losing his last two to Dustin Poirier.
He is expected to make his MMA return this fall after suffering a broken leg in the opening round against Poirier in their trilogy.
The 'Notorious' has been seen hitting the gym as well as pads with boxing gloves on which suggests he is not yet done with boxing.
"Boxing is my first love in combat sports. I had such a great time the last time I was out there," McGregor told Sky Sports last month.
"Obviously, my return will be in the octagon for UFC - that story is far from over, in fact it's just being written, it is just the beginning.
"But, boxing, for sure I will grace the squared circle again in the future."
