Chris Eubank Jr could fight the winner of Andrade-Williams, says promoter

"I'd love to promote that fight because the build-up would be naughty!"

Promoter Kalle Sauerland says Chris Eubank Jr could face the winner of Demetrius Andrade vs Liam Williams.
American Andrade will defend his WBO middleweight belt against Williams on Saturday night in Florida.

Welshman Williams, also known as 'The Machine', is hoping to cause an upset and win his first major world title.

Eubank Jr (29-2, 22 KOs) returns to the ring on May 1 against fellow Briton Marcus Morrison, on the undercard of Dereck Chisora and Joseph Parker's heavyweight clash.

When asked about Eubank Jr facing the winner of Andrade vs Williams, Sauerland told Sky Sports: "Andrade-Williams is a great fight. If Williams wins that, he's a character.

"I'd love to promote that [Eubank Jr vs Williams] because the build-up would be naughty!
"There are lots of options out there."
Eubank Jr has won three times since his unanimous decision loss to British rival George Groves in February 2018.

He came back with a dominant win over JJ McDonagh in Saudi Arabia later that year before beating 2008 Olympic champion James DeGale in a scrappy affair.

Chris Eubank Jr handed James DeGale the third and final loss of his career at the O2 Arena in 2019

Eubank Jr's most recent outing was a TKO victory over Matvey Korobov in December 2019.
The 31-year-old is the current WBA interim champion, behind world title holder Ryota Murata of Japan.

If he manages to get past Morrison next month, Eubank Jr could target a major bout against Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez or Gennady Golovkin later this year.
